Tom demands a jury trial in almost every case he files. This is not only because a jury trial is a guaranteed right under the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and Article 1, § 22 of the Florida Constitution, but Tom believes 6 people on a jury (Florida state court) or 6 to 12 people on a jury (federal court) have a better chance of reaching the right result that one judge who - while skilled in the law - is handling hundreds of other cases on his or her docket and may not be able to give your case the attention it deserves.
